The dress does up at the back with a metal zipper. The fabric is a matte satin silk is a substantial weight, very nice quality. Age: early 1960s Label: Cherida by Irving Nadler Co. Ltd. Montreal Canada.

This is a wonderful black silk cocktail party dress dating to the early 1960s.  The dress is made in a sophisticated style - spaghetti straps, turned bodice, accented waist and full form fitting skirt, beautifully cut with diagonal pleating at the front.  The dress does up at the back with a metal zipper.  The fabric is a matte satin silk is a substantial weight, very nice quality.

Age: early 1960s

Label: Cherida by Irving Nadler Co. Ltd. Montreal - Canada.

Sizing: No size label is present, and although this should fit a small size, please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Bust: 33” around

Waist: 25” around

Hips: 44” around, meant to fit loosely

Overall length: 37 1/2” from the top of the shoulder straps to the bottom of the skirt

Condition:  It is in very good condition with no wear, tear, stains or odours.  This dress was well cared for and stored over the years.

This is a wonderful party dress featuring early 60s sophistication - great with long gloves!
